How this works
Every municipality keeps public records of what is being proposed and approved: building permits, rezoning applications, and the site plans developers file. These records are open to anyone, but there are thousands of them scattered across dozens of websites, and almost nobody reads them.
Earlyworks does.
Every night, it scans records from 22 municipalities, identifies the concrete towers, determines how far along each project is, and pulls the architectural drawings directly from municipal files.
Every morning, you open a single list and see every tower planned for your market: how tall it will be, how deep the parkade goes, who is building it, and — wherever the city publishes them — the drawings, months or even years before bidding begins.
By the time everyone else sees the bid, you have already reviewed the project, identified the opportunity, and made the first call.

How this compares to the big lead services
| Earlyworks | Plan rooms & lead services | |
|---|---|---|
| When you hear about a tower | 1–3 years early — at the application, rezoning or site plan | When bidding opens and everyone else already knows |
| Drawings | Drawing sets and documents, one tap, from the city's own file | Locked behind the bid invitation, when you're one of fifteen |
| Freshness | Re-pulled twice daily, re-verified against city records nightly, proof on the site | Researcher phone banks and manual entry |
| Price | $99–$199 a month, per company, cancel anytime | $5,000–$12,000 a year, per seat, on contract |
| What it's for | Get there first — build the relationship and plan the year before a bid list exists | Race fourteen competitors on price |

05 /The drawings
1,000+ drawing sets, one tap from the sheet.
Pulled from the cities' own application files and pinned to the project. Open the PDFs and rough a number the same morning.
Not every project has drawings, and we would rather tell you than let you find out after paying. A drawing here means a plan set — architectural, landscape, elevations, site plan — something you can measure from. We count staff reports and public notices separately, because they are not drawings. Here is the real coverage this morning:
Coverage differs because cities differ. Toronto and Vancouver publish their planning files openly, so we can pin the architect’s drawings to the project. Calgary publishes almost nothing, so its projects carry the record but not the paper. These numbers move every night — the crawler works through each city’s archive in the background, so a project with no drawings today may have them next week. Nothing here is typed by hand; it is counted from the live sheet each morning.
